Orlando, Fl— October 27th — A 1st Annual Poker Night produced excellent results, with proceeds benefiting Champions for Children. The event leaders, sponsors, donors, and organizers of the event met on the grounds of the Walt Disney Pavillion at AdventHealth Orlando PICU 550 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803 to present Champions for Children a donation of $7,000.00 generated from a first-ever Poker Night held on October 14th, at 310 Lakeside. The inaugural event, where a good old-fashioned poker night full of fun, food, & friendly casino dealers, transformed the 310 Lakeside Restaurant overlooking Lake Eola into a picturesque casino where all the proceeds went to Champions for Children.
The proceeds generated help Champions for Children make a lasting impact on the lives of children and families throughout Orlando and Central Florida by strategically supporting the hospital’s child-based initiatives. In addition, proceeds support the many needed services that individuals desperately need that are not covered by insurance but are essential to our children and families during and after their essential care.
