The Listing Real Estate Management has earned Silver in the Best Property Management Company category of Central Florida Favorites for 2026, our second consecutive silver after receiving the same recognition in 2025. Central Florida Favorites is the Orlando Sentinel’s community choice program, produced by Orlando Sentinel Media Group. Readers across the region nominate and vote for the local businesses, people, and places they like best, and winners are named Gold, Silver, or Bronze in each category. The 2026 results were published in a winners magazine inside the Sunday, July 26 edition of the Orlando Sentinel.
This year is only its second edition, which means we’ve earned silver for Best Property Management Company every year Central Florida Favorites has existed. Both the 2025 and 2026 awards appear on our official Central Florida Favorites listing if you’d like to see them for yourself.
It’s a people’s choice recognition, and the organizer is clear that results reflect consumer opinion, with no professional ranking or evaluation implied. I actually like that. Owners, residents, and neighbors took a few minutes out of their day to vote, and that’s the part I’m proud of.
What This Recognition Means to Our Team
Much of property management is work an owner may never see: following up with a contractor, catching an issue during an inspection, or making sure a repair is finished before a new resident moves in. When we handle those details well, owners have fewer things to worry about and more confidence that their property is being cared for.
Receiving this recognition for a second year means a lot to our team. The calls, follow-ups, and everyday problem-solving take effort, and it’s encouraging to know people appreciate that work enough to vote for us.
It also reminds us of the expectations that come with being recommended. If an owner reaches out because they saw this award, we still have to earn their trust through the service we provide. Heading into 2027, our focus is on staying responsive, following through, and keeping owners informed about their properties.
Serving Rental Property Owners Across Orlando and Central Florida
We manage single-family homes, townhomes, condos, and multifamily communities throughout Greater Orlando, from Downtown Orlando and Winter Park to Lake Nona, Windermere, Oviedo, Kissimmee, and Lake Mary. The award doesn’t explain why people voted for us, and I won’t pretend it does. What I can do is tell you what an owner actually gets when they hand us the keys.
Screening comes first. Our tenant screening process covers credit, background, income and employment verification, rental history, and a nationwide eviction search. Approvals usually take three to five days, and when an owner asks us to speed things up, our answer stays the same: we’d rather place the right tenant than the fast one. If a tenant we screened and placed moves out before the end of their first one-year lease, we find a replacement at no charge.
Financials shouldn’t be something you chase. Every month, owners receive detailed statements prepared by a professional bookkeeper, and those statements live in an online owner portal they can open anytime. We don’t charge management fees while a home sits vacant or on rent we haven’t collected, and we don’t tack on administrative fees for overseeing maintenance. And someone is always reachable. A supply line that bursts at 10 p.m. on a Saturday in July doesn’t care about office hours, so we keep an emergency contact on call nights and weekends. Lease renewals start 90 days before expiration, which means owners aren’t guessing about next year’s income in the final week of the lease.
None of that is flashy. It’s the work that keeps a rental property running smoothly.
